Time for Change!!!!

So it has been a while since I have posted, and since my last post there has been all kinds of things going on in this country that SCARES me. So much has been going on I do not even know where to start at. One would think I should start at the election and go from there, but if I did this post would be 50 pages long. What I am thinking I am going to do is sum up the last 6 months instead. Being the last 6 months are the Obama months.
Since his first day in office, Obama has done any and everything he can to cause the downfall of this country. Starting with the “stimulus” plan, let’s analyze the word stimulus so we are all on the same page on what we are talking about here. According to dictionary.com the meaning of stimulus is as follows:
1. Something that incites to action or exertion or quickens action, feeling, thought, etc..
2. An agent, action, or condition that elicits or accelerates a physiological or psychological activity or response
3. Something that incites or rouses to action

Ok with that being stated one would think a “stimulus” plan would do just what it says, it would stimulate the economy. Instead it has not done that, in fact things in the economy have gotten worse since the plan that needed to pass or the economy would collapse completely and the bill needed to pass so fast Congress didn’t have time to even read it. It’s amazing a plan which passed by all Democrat support in the House and only 3 Republicans in the Senate, so much for non-partisan!! Now it has been awhile since Obama has made his speeches about the plan, but if I remember correctly I think he made comments like: if we don’t pass this bill now, the car industry will go bankrupt, or this plan will save or create 5 million jobs. Well I know hindsight is 20/20 but didn’t GM and Chrysler go bankrupt? Oh and where are the new jobs? In fact what the hell does “create or save” even mean??
Now we are sitting here in an economy that sits at over 9% unemployment, even though Obama said it wouldn’t get over 8%, now I’m not a math genius but I think 9 is made then 8, but I could be wrong. Now let’s talk about GM and Chrysler. Where does the President get the balls and the power to one fire the CEO of a private company, and two the balls to say he doesn’t want “own” GM but somehow we as a country now own over 60% of GM. I call that a bit crazy!!

Now let’s move forward shall we. Let’s talk about ACORN for a minute. Now I would not normally give them a thought, but when you have a group that is going to get billions of tax dollars I think we need to talk about them. Here is a group that is under investigation for voter fraud during the election in 2008, a group that wants to take over the Census counting in 2010, and a group that Obama once was the lawyer for. Something here doesn’t smell right to me. You know when you smell a dead fish that has been lying out in the sun for a few days kind of smell. How does a company that has broken the law in numerous states, helped get the most liberal person ever elected President, and then has the balls to take over the Census count nest year. Out of all of the things ACORN has done the one that scares me the most is the Census.
Some of you out there might be saying, who cares about the Census. Well everyone in this country should be caring about this. The Census not only counts the people of this country, but they set the districts used by congress. What does that mean you say? Well when the number of people in a state changes enough, more districts can be added to that state to be represented in congress, and just the opposite if the number shrinks from the last count. So here we have a group that is willing to commit fraud to get Obama elected, so what’s there to say they won’t lie to get the numbers in the “red” states to change in the favor of becoming “blue?”
For those of you that do not know or can’t tell by the title of my blog, I have been in the military since the age 19, that’s 12 years of my life. I knew at the age of 8 I would be in the military in some sort of form. With that being said, I have very strong views when it comes to the security of this country. When a President comes into office and starts his term with an executive order that closes Gitmo, well I have to think he does not have the same views about national security like I do. But to make matters worse, Obama has the balls to go beyond that. To go and hang out with Chavez, to telling N. Korea not to test its missiles or nuclear program or you will be grounded, telling Iran that it can have its nuclear program for power but not weapons, but Obama doesn’t even want to use nuclear power here in this country. Hell with Iran’s election in chaos and the people there want the correct results and here the most powerful nation in the world, the one country that had promoted democracy all over the world, and our President can’t even make a statement to tell Iran to listen to its people and let democracy prosper!! Now he might have reasons for this, but I would have to say the biggest reason is he doesn’t have the intestinal fortitude to man up and do what is right and speak out against is buddy Mahmoud.
I am going to stop here for now, but I promise to pick up from here and continue on. It is time for the people of this country to stand up and take back what is rightfully ours. We need to unite and tell the crooks in Congress they cannot have any more of our money, they do not have an open checkbook to write what that want, nor do they have a credit card with no limit. The best and easy way to fix the problem is to change the face of Congress, and the only way to do that is to fire the asshats there no and elect new people into office which hopefully will actually do the right thing and tell the President NO you can’t have any more and the people or tired if it!!!!

It’s been awhile!

To those who actually read this blog, you have most likely seen it has been awhile since my last posting. To this I am sorry! It has been a crazy 9 months or so.

Last Sept. I went to the Police Academy here in Arkansas, after that I was being trained on the streets for the new job. I have more time off now, but it seems to be filled with things to do, which include moving!

I am hoping to be able to keep everyone updated more now that I am somewhat settled now. Please come back to see more updates coming soon. There has been a ton of stuff that I have not blogged about since the “Great One” took office, and I have to tell you, my brain is hurting since I haven’t been able to get the stuff out!!

Again thank you to all who read this blog, and again I am sorry for the lack of updates, but that will change now.

Update # 3..I think

Well it has been a while since my last post, and for those that actually read this blog I am sorry. It has been a busy month for me, and I am here to explain what has been going on.

On July 13th I left for Memphis, I had to be in Memphis to get ready to go to my Annual Training for the Army Reserves. This year my unit went out to California to do some actual engineer training, this being the first time in my 11 year Army carrear. So I spent a total of 21 days out there doing Army stuff,  we ended up having 2, 24 hour periods were 16 Sapper (engineer) squads competed in 16 Sapper Stakes (lanes)..baiscly there were 16, 8 man teams that had to go thru 16 training lanes, each one dealing from common army tasks to complex engineering tasks. And to make it even more fun, the higher ups decide to make a competition out of it. The only bad thing is the unit that was putting this thing on also had 4 teams involved so can you guess who one? Hint: it was one of th units that put this all togerther, in fact all 4 teams were in the top six, they would have been 1-4, but the 1st squad from my unit finsished 3rd so thatdidn’t happen, the team I lead, 3rd Squad finished 8th, even thought on the last day my squad, 1st squad and the winner were each battling for first for 20 plus hours, and some how I finished 8th?? Seems fishy to me! Anyways, so while doing this we had some good fun, and got to see some of the infamous California fires while out there.

Well to make this trip even more fun, prior to leaving for California, the wife, my daughter and I went to San Antinio, TX and met up with my mom, sister and brother-in-law to surprise my daughter for her birthday.  We went to Sea World and Six Flags over the July 4th weekend (daughter’s bday is July 5th), so we had a good time doing that. well that was short lived, when we got home, we got a notice from the bankruptcy court in California, that the owner’s of the house we were renting had filed for banruptcy and the house was included in it, so we were under the threat of being evicted once the back got the house. So this lead to a time crunch to find a new house to rent and prepare to move once I got home from California. Luckly we found one really quick so that was taken care of before I left, the bad thing was we were moving 2 days after I got home from 3 weeks in Califonia, so that really sucked!!

Luckily my wife being the genius that she is, hired some movers to help with all the big and heavy items, so that saved my back and knees! So the move went off with out a hitch, thank goodness.

Well while in California, I received a call from the Siloam Springs, AR Poilce Department, they decided to move my hire date up to the 1st of Sept instead of the 1st of Oct. So that brightened my trip big time!! For those that might not know, I took a test anf interviewed with them back in June, then they did my background check short there after. I then recieved a letter offering me a job at a later date, so I knew I had the job, but I didn’t have a stat date untill I got the call.  So needless to say I am happy that I am leaving the crappy job that I have now, which I only have sue to being laid off from the job that I loved back in April (damn economy!!), and now I am going to a profession that I have been wanting to be part of for the last 8 years, and I am finally going to fullfill a dream!!!

So that ends the update. I am hoping to get some more posts on the elections and events going on around the world soon, so keep an eye out for them!!

McCain’s first hand story of being a POW and some of my rants

Ok so I found this at Little Green Footballs:

Its a first hand account of John McCain’s time spent as a POW in Vietnam. I have always known he was s POW but I never knew the actual story behind his time. If you are a McCain supporter, or if you aren’t go read this story. I have taken the liberty of clipping some of the text out of the story, due to the fact a lot of what McCain said then is very relevant today. So we will start here and move forward. The italics is what McCain had to say, and my comments will be in green:

As you may know, back in 1954, the North Vietnamese had a big hand in toppling the French Government in Paris because the French voters had no more stomach for the Vietnam war their Government was waging at the time. That was the way the North Vietnamese won in 1954—they didn’t win in Vietnam.

The French agreed to pull out of Indo-China with no questions asked when they signed the agreement. As a result, they got back just one third of their POW’s.

I’m convinced that Hanoi hoped to win in our case by undermining morale among the people at home in America. They had to marshal world opinion on their side. I remember in 1968 or ’69 [North Vietnam Premier] Pham Van Dong’s speech to the National Assembly, because we were blasted with these things on the loud-speakers. The title of his address was, “The Whole World Supports Us,” not, “We Have Defeated the U. S. Aggressors,” or anything like that.

Now granted there aren’t a large amount of missing or POW troops in Iraq or Afgan, in fact I believe the only missing Solider Staff Sgt. Keith M. “Matt” Maupin has been found . Now I could be wrong on that statement, but lets move forward. If you read McCain’s words from 1973 you will see that the French “lost” the war because the French people got tired of the war. Now this was most likely brought on by anti-war protesters all of the country. Being as that was in 1954, and here we are in 2008 and the same thing is going on here. Anti-war groups are popping up everywhere spreading lies about the war and what is going on over there.

All through this period, the “gooks” were bombarding us with antiwar quotes from people in high places back in Washington. This was the most effective propaganda they had to use against us—speeches and statements by men who were generally respected in the United States. They used Senator Fulbright a great deal, and Senator Brooke. Ted Kennedy was quoted again and again, as was Averell Harriman. Clark Clifford was another favorite, right after he had been Secretary of Defense under President Johnson.

I find it amazing that in the 60’s during the Vietnam war, Senators were speaking out against it like it would not hurt those serving overseas. When the reality was that there words were actually doing the opposite, it was hurting those that were in the POW camps. And the fact that you have Ted Kennedy back then running his mouth against that war and here he is 40 years later doing again. (see my story about term limits, this is a prime example of why we need them!!). The soldiers in Iraq are hearing the same thing today, on a daily basis from the main stream media, from Senators and Congressmen, and even from a Presidential candidate that won’t even go to Iraq to visit the troops and see that the surge is working!!

The only reason why the North Vietnamese began negotiating in October, 1972, was because they could read the polls as well as you and I can, and they knew that Nixon was going to have an overwhelming victory in his re-election bid. So they wanted to negotiate a cease-fire before the elections.

Granted we are not fighting an enemy like the NVA, but the terrorists pay close attention to polls and to stories coming out of the U.S about the was in Iraq. And when they see and hear stories about the surge isn’t working, and there is a candidate that wants to pull the troops out as soon as he gets into office, this makes their will stronger to keep fighting. The AQI want nothing more then for Obama to win in November. With his win they will be able to wait for the troops to be pulled out and sit back and claim defeat against the strongest military in the world. This would not only be a blow to those serving in uniform but it would be a blow to the United States all over the world.

I admire President Nixon’s courage. There may be criticism of him in certain areas—Watergate, for example. But he had to take the most unpopular decisions that I could imagine—the mining, the blockade, the bombing. I know it was very, very difficult for him to do that, but that was the thing that ended the war. I think the reason he understood this is that he has a long background in dealing with these people. He knows how to use the carrot and the stick. Obviously, his trip to China and the Strategic Arms Limitation Treaty with Russia were based on the fact that we’re stronger than the Communists, so they were willing to negotiate. Force is what they understand. And that’s why it is difficult for me to understand now, when everybody knows that the bombing finally got a cease-fire agreement, why people are still criticizing his foreign policy—for example, the bombing in Cambodia.

The fact in 1969 Nixon was willing to stand up against the left, to stand up against the anti-war folks, and to see that the war in Vietnam would end the way it should have ended, is an inspiration that the next President needs to have. The fact that McCain in 1973 saw that what Nixon did help with the end of that war, leads me to believe he knows what is best for the course of actions in Iraq. The fact that the left has a candidate that doesn’t understand the military, doesn’t understand that history has a way or repeating itself if not learned, has way to many “friends” that are against this country scares the crap out of me!!

At this particular juncture, after Tet in 1968, they thought they had the war won. They had gotten General Westmoreland [commander of U.S. forces in South Vietnam] fired. They were convinced that they had wrecked Johnson’s chances for re-election. And they thought that they had the majority of the American people on their side. That’s why these guys were speaking very freely as to what their ambitions were. They were speaking prematurely, because they just misjudged the caliber of President Nixon.

Imagine if you will, AQI had not been almost totally destroyed with the surge last year. With that victory and the fact that there was an election happening the following year, and the main Anti-war candidate looked like a shoe in for the President would AQI not be doing the same thing? They would be all over the internet and the main stream media telling each and every one of us that they were winning that the great United States has been defeated, and now that we control Iraq it is time to move towards destroying Israel!!!!

I have heard there was one B-52 pilot who refused to fly the missions during the Christmas bombing. You always run into that kind. When the going gets tough, they find out their conscience is bothering them. I want to say this to anybody in the military: If you don’t know what your country is doing, find out. And if you find you don’t like what your country is doing, get out before the chips are down.

Now a lot of you out there on the left have had your panties all in a bunch about the war, and the fact there is a group IAVW that has certain people in that would rather desert their posts and not follow the commands they took an oath to follow scare the living shit out of me. The fact that McCain who was beaten on almost a daily basis had the courage to stand up for what was right, the courage to realize that he made the choice to fight (granted a lot of folks during Vietnam were drafted, McCain wasn’t nor are anybody that has served or is serving in the military now) . For those soldiers that say the war is wrong, that they “saw” war crimes, or heard about war crimes, or that they aren’t going to go back to Iraq, well here is my question to you: Why the fuck did you join the military? I mean did you think you were going to boy scout camp an get to march around with guns and sing camp fire songs?? I mean give me a break, I joined in 1997, there wasn’t a threat of war then, but I knew that when I signed my name, raised my hand and took the oath that there could be a war at anytime. The world changes to fast for there not to be. Hell there was a war 6 years prior to me enlisting!! So any of you morons at IVAW think that you have ground to stand on, have another thing coming for you. Because if you “saw” these crimes, or you took part in them you time is coming. If you didn’t report them you time is coming. If you are making false accusations to members of congress your time is coming. But what am I kidding non of you are brave enough to stand up, take the stand in a court room or Senate committee room, raise your right hand and take an oath to tell the truth and nothing but the truth!!

Remember, a handful of turncoats after the Korean War made a great majority of Americans think that most of the POW’s in conflict were traitors.

This last passage goes to all of the anti-war troops out there spreading false stories, telling lies about things that supposedly happened! Because of you, because of groups like IVAW you are making those of us that are proud of our service, that went and fought for their country with honor and same gave their lives to insure that the freedoms of this country would live on forever. you are making all of us look like a bunch of renegades, blood thirsty, and willing to do whatever we want as long as we got home. Whenever you decide to speak and if I am around I will make sure to bring my Bull Shit Card to throw out! If you want to make a difference then do it under oath, bring evidence to the table, give names and locations, and dates the things you speak about happened. Until then crawl back under the rocks you came out from, enjoy the college education your country can and will provide for you, and let it go. So you had a rough year in Iraq or you had to do more then one tour, suck it up. The military isn’t a fucking cake walk, and neither is war!!!

Congressional & Senatorial TERM LIMITS!

Ok first I have to give credit to 2 different blogs for bringing this light bulb to my mind:

1. Ace of Spades HQ
2. Commentary Magazine Blog

Ok after reading about Pelosi giving credit to Iran with “helping” the surge work, my brain almost exploded and I almost got fired for yelling you “traitor bitch!!”. After calming down I read a that someone left on the commentary magazine blog website. It clearly stated:

  1. David B. Says:
    May 29th, 2008 at 3:01 PM

This is the perfect example of why this country needs Congressional & Senatorial TERM LIMITS!
Enough is enough. Why hasn’t all the investigating commitees of Pelosi’s congress looked into her meddeling in world affairs?

Now I have brought this up with a few friends and even my wife, but I have never spoke about it out loud. Well now it is time to. How do we as Americans think that by electing the same people into office over and over and over again will change anything? I mean its like Congress is a permanent Groundhog Day.

I know there are a few in Congress that have done a wonderful job, but i still think that to be able to have a change and make some serious effects to this country, it is time that the government get back to being “by the people for the people”. Instead we have by the people until I die or get tired of being in Congress,or run for President and win/lose! Now i know that Senators do 6year terms and Congress does 2 years. But the President can only do 2, 4 year terms. Does anyone else see an issue with this?

In a perfect world, or at least one that can run efficiently, Senators should do a 4 year term and be limited to 2 to 4 max, set their elections on opposite years of the President. In other words, 2008 we elect the President, 2009 we elect new Senators. Now you can break that down to 50 one year and 50 the next, or all 100 at the same time.Either way after 8 to 16 years max you will have new Senators in office that can bring change to the system. My opinion they should be 2, 4 year terms like the President, and on the same years as the President. That way if a Senator decides to run for President and wins or loses their seat is given up for someone else, and in 4 years if they have another term they can win then they can run again.

As far as the House goes, it should be similar to the Senate, but with different amount of years and terms. Being as now they have an election every 2 years, lets change that to every 3. The term limits would be 4, meaning an even 12 years in the House. These elections can be broken up easily. The first batch would be the same year as a Presidential election, the next batch would be the next year when the Senators are running for office. So to follow the example above, in 2008 50% of the house would run for election, and 2009 the other 50% would run. Then in 2011 the first 50% would run again if they haven’t hit the term limit, then in 2012 the other 50% along with the Presidential and Senate races.

But the biggest thing that pisses me off is how Pelosi can go around and thank Iran for helping out with the surge and saying that because Iran decided to tell the insurgents not to fight, is why the surge worked. Saying shit like that, or going to Syria and meeting with their President after the President of the United States, your bass, tells you not to, should be grounds for Treason charges. Pelosi and the code pinkers, and any other left wing nut case that decides to help the United States enemy’s or the friends of our enemy’s then they should be charged with treason, tried and if found guilty be hung on the White House lawn, and televised around the world on Pay per view or HBO. Sorry for the rant, but there have been to many men and women who have died for this country over the last 200 plus years to give us the freedoms we all love to have a fucking idiot like Pelosi to say that Iran should be thanked, or to have her hanging out with the president of Syria. Not only is it a slap in the face to those men and women who died, currently serving,or have served, but it should be a slap in the face to every American. How can we expect to “change” the government if our hands are tied? Someone please tell me how??

Not I am not 100% sure but I believe that serving one’s country in the Senate or House isn’t something that was suppose to be a career, but something one does to give back to our country, and when that time is up, they go back home to whatever it is they were doing and go about their lives. If it was meant to be a lifelong venture they would not have put term limits on the President. before the 22nd Amendment in the Constitution, all of the President’s that came after George Washington only served 2 terms out of respect for Washington. Washington did not want to serve more then 2 terms because he was satisfied with the job he did and did not want to serve anymore terms. Because he was such a great man and leader every other President followed suit until FDR was elected to 4 terms in the 30’s and 40’s, and 2 years after his death did the 22nd pass Congress and ratifies in 1951. 6 years after FDR’s death. So why can’t Congress fall into this as well??

If we are going to change the way the country is lead and how the government is ran we need to get rid of all the shit that is in Congress and start new every 4 years. Then maybe then we might actually see some sort of change for once

Why do we fight?..Part 2

The following was on the liveleak.com front page about “Fitna” :

Following threats to our staff of a very serious nature, and some ill informed reports from certain corners of the British media that could directly lead to the harm of some of our staff, Liveleak.com has been left with no other choice but to remove Fitna from our servers. This is a sad day for freedom of speech on the net but we have to place the safety and well being of our staff above all else. We would like to thank the thousands of people, from all backgrounds and religions, who gave us their support. They realized LiveLeak.com is a vehicle for many opinions and not just for the support of one.Perhaps there is still hope that this situation may produce a discussion that could benefit and educate all of us as to how we can accept one anothers culture. We stood for what we believe in, the ability to be heard, but in the end the price was too high.

With that being said, do you know I have to question why we fight? Terrorists threatening people because they believe in the freedom of speech?? Imagine if you will this happening here??!!! The fact the the Islamic religion preached hate, preached the deaths to all that do not believer in Islam, a religion that actually gets so pissed off that they are willing to kill over a freaking movie!! That would be like the the catholic church getting mad and its followers threatening and killing the baptist folks because they said something bad about the pope! Lets get real here people! When are we going to grow up and start acting like adults and not freaking 5 year olds?? My own daughter knows better then this and she is 7!!! The root of all evil are not the people that do evil but the religion that tell them to do evil in that god’s name!!

UPDATE:
The video was pulled from live leak, but I have found it again and I will keep finidng it to make sure that everyone sees the truth!!

UPDATE 2: The video is back on Live Leak, you can watch it here below or thre on live leak!

Freedom of Speech?!

Well I have been doing a lot of reading lately. Reading that involves no only books but different blogs floating around the Internet. Some of these blogs are pro-war, some anti-war, and some are about finger painting.
After reading these blogs it make me proud to have been able to fight for my country and for the freedoms we have. The main freedom everyone seems to throw out if Freedom of Speech. According to Wikipedia the 1st amendment is as follows:

First AmendmentEstablishment clause, freedom of religion (Free Exercise Clause), speech, and press, and peaceable assembly as well as the right to petition the government.
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
Now that is what is says in the Bill of Rights, but if you were to ask an ordinary person on the street it would be more like this:
“The first amendment means I can say what I want, about whomever I want.”
The problem with that statement is, you can not go around slandering people, that is not covered under the first amendment. For those who do not know what slander is her is the definition from Dictionary.com :
slan·der /ˈslændər/
–noun
1. defamation; calumny: rumors full of slander.
2. a malicious, false, and defamatory statement or report: a slander against his good name.
3. Law. defamation by oral utterance rather than by writing, pictures, etc. –verb (used with object)
4. to utter slander against; defame. –verb (used without object)
5. to utter or circulate slander.
Now with that all covered lets get to whats on my mind.
How can a person, weather its a mom, dad, politician, or solider/Maine have the right to go around the country and the world for that fact, write books, and DVDs about the atrocities that may or may not be occurring in Iraq? How can these people get away with “slandering” their former commanders, team mates, and friends? How can they go around blowing lies and rumors around without actually evidence to back them up? How can the media be allowed to report on these people, repeating what they are saying without proving them to be true or false?
Well I have a few answers in my mind, but i would really love to hear what other folks have to say about it. In my mind the media and the folks spewing this crap unchecked can get away with it, because we allow it to happen. We as a country and society allow these people to go around saying these things with out backing them up with some kind of evidence.
If the killing of civilians was happening on purpose in Iraq, there would be more then a handful of soldiers or marines talking out. Especially if commanders and leaders were ordering their troops to perform such act would not fly. As a squad leader, I would never follow a command form a higher up that stated to kill innocent civilians. That is an unlawful command, and as such I am obligated not to follow it no matter the punishment I might receive. this is a right that every U.S. Solider, Sailor, Marine, and Airmen has. We have the right to dis-obey a direct or indirect order if it is unlawful according to the UCMJ.
Now I know that in the “fog” of war that civilians get killed, and that is a shame. But, and this is the biggest but in the world, they are killed in cross fire, or fire that was brought upon them because of a threatening act the had committed towards American forces. In other words, if a battle is raging in an alley and a man, woman, or child walks out of a building into the middle of that firefight, then that is a painful accident. If a car full of civilians does not stop at a checkpoint that is clearly marked and proceeds to speed up towards American or Iraqi forces, that vehicle is fired upon. Afterwords if that car is full of civilians then again that is a painful accident. these types of things are covered with in every soldiers ROE (rules of engagements).
While I was in Iraq we were made to carry the ROE in our pocket. We were provided with a lamented copy of it to carry on us at all times. If a anyone were to ask you for it, you better have had it on you or there was punishment for not having it.
The one thing that I have a problem with is this: if these things were going on and these people saw this or did this, were is the proof? Where are the countless stories that would come out about these incidents? If a line company of Marines (that’s 200 Marines) or even a platoon (that’s roughly 30 Marines), were to fire upon innocent civilians or demonstrators on purpose, wouldn’t there be more then 1 or 2 of them speaking out? Wouldn’t there have been some kind of evidence like photos by a embedded journalist of this happening? If not, then why is it that 1 or 2 people are able to run there mouth about things that never happened and get away with it? how can they right books and make DVDs and get paid large amounts of money for a bunch of lies? Where are the “media” that is suppose to investigate these claims and bring out the truth? How can guys like Jimmy Massey able to live off of these lies? (http://www.jimmymassey.com/), but yet when a journalist writes a story de-bunking his claims:(here is an excerpt of Ron Harris de-bunking Massey’s claims: http://michellemalkin.com/2005/11/06/an-anti-war-smear-artist-exposed/) Again I look forward to hearing some other views of this issue, and this isn’t the only story out there like this, I am sure there are plenty more that I have yet to read about.

First

Well this is my first go at a blog. I am some what new to this so please be gentle to me. My goal is to get my thoughts and ideas out of my head and put into a format that can be shared with others who might or might not agree with my views as well. I know that some of the things I might write will anger some people and for that I am sorry now because that is the great thing about this country. We can say whatever we like as long as what we say doesn’t de-face someone and as long as what we say does not hurt national security. With that being said I am going to close this my first posting, and I look forward to getting more off of my mind. Take care.
